Empire Zoysia

Empire Zoysia is a native proprietary selection of Zoysia japonica. It it said to be dark green in color with a wide leaf blade and open growth habit. It has performed well in sandy and clay soil types with aggressive growth from its stolons and rhizomes, but can be mowed with a standard rotary mower due to its broader leaf and open growth habit.
